GOING BACK TO WORK MONDAY!!!!

Well, we are going back to work on Monday. We both can't believe how time has flown the past 6 weeks. We had looked forward to this time for so long. Just being together, with no specific plans. We had looked at it as a "vaca" of sorts. Our plans were to stay up late/sleep in, go out to lunch & "hang out" . Our favorite part was staying up late and sleeping in til 10( when the older ones got up, cuz we let them stay up late too! We have enjoyed our new little one, Alyssa. We got a couple of weeks with just her until school was out for the summer. She has been everything we had hoped for. Before she came, we would talk about the things we hoped she would be, who she would look like. We had wanted a girl this time for my stepdaughter Kaeli, who has desperatley begged for a sister and for my husband who wanted a "little Ryna" as he would say. We have wanted her for 3 or 4 years, but my mother got sick with lung cancer at the time we were planing her and I was traveling 6 hrs every weekend to help out and sometimes during the week, toting 2 toddlers at the same time. I just didn't think it was the right time to be pregnant again. I was so overwhelmed with my mom being sick, and I just couldn't grasp it all. Anyway, We wanted a girl. Kaeli and Matt wanted a girl, the whole family wanted A GIRL. No one will believe me, but I knew we would have her and the day I took the test, I knew she was coming. Just like when I was pregnant with Matt, I knew I was having a boy. Anyway, she is here and now our family is complete. I tear up just thinking about my life, where I have been and where I am now. I started this blog to learn & share stories, creativity , happiness, laughter, & recipes.
